Situated on a remarkable waterfront site overlooking Sydney's Middle Harbour, this recently completed project included the renewal of all interiors, new bathrooms and new kitchen and external works. Originally designed for Japanese diplomats in the 1960's, the house has hints of oriental details blended with modernist thinking. Rather than simply applying Asian influenced finishes, our base design concept was based on the idea of 'air and water', two basic elements which the home enjoys naturally.
The palette is cool with dark accents, balanced with natural light and excellent cross-ventilation, giving the home a beautiful calm character. Landscape design by True Form Landscape Architecture complements the home, revitalising the pool deck and gardens perfectly. Construction and fitout by FRES Constructions is of the highest standard, suitable for this unique property.
